In 480 B.C. King Leonidas of Sparta and a small army of three hundred
soldiers from his personal body guard and another seven hundred slave warriors try to defend the passage of Thermopylae,
a narrow canyon and the only road overland leading into Greece, against a large Persian army.
This Historic War-Adventure based on the graphic novel by Frank
Miller was released on March 9th, 2007, filmed in Montreal,
directed by Zack Snyder and stars Dominic West, Vincent Regan, Michael Fassbender, Lena Headey, Gerard Butler.
