The Solomon family has left Chicago to live in North Dakota on a secluded sunflower farm.
Sixteen years old Jess and her younger brother Ben begin seeing things that are invisible to everyone else.
When these things become violent, her sanity is questioned, besides that her own
past has something to do with the past of the ones who once lived in the house.
The basic theme for this thriller is the idea that children can see what grownups cannot, and in this case
the adults pay no attention to what the children are experiencing, in the end unrest and murder
will destroy the entire household.
