The Painted Veil Movie Story Synopsis

This romantic drama was released on December 20th 2006, filmed in South East Asia, directed by John Curran and based uppon the novel by W. Somerset Maugham. A Britsh couple, hastily married, moves to Shanghai. After Walter (Edward Norton) discovers that his wife Kitty (Naomi Watts) has been adulterous, he takes a job as a doctor in a Chinese village where an epidemic took place. In this village their love is going to blossom again.
